Honey Glazed Salmon
Been craving to try and make this recipe for some time, finally got around to it and yes it’s delicious!! Typically not really into sweet and salty for my main dishes but this recipe did come out yum + paired it with a simple cauliflower rice recipe from my blog, here are the deets for 2 salmons...
Ingredients:
2 minced garlic buds
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1-2 pinches chili flakes
1/2 tsp avocado oil
1 tbsp + 1 tsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp honey
2 fresh salmon filets
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F
Mix the glaze ingredients well in a small bowl
Remove salmon fillets skin and in a plate coat the fillets with 1/2 the glaze mixture and refrigerate for about 30 mins
Then bake the fillets in the oven for about 15 mins
Towards the end of the 15 mins- on medium heat, in a small pan add the rest of the glaze mixture and cook until gooey mixture starts to form.
Remove the salmon from the oven, plate and top immediately with warm glaze (if you let the glaze cool it with become sticky and is hard to served)
Serve with cauliflower rice, avocado and cilantro ✨✨
