Turmeric Poached Egg

Turmeric Poached Egg 🔥 on top of avo shroom toast w/chili flakes + chives. & honestlyyyy this is my very first time poaching an egg and it was a-mazinggg + turmericy... always thought I had to go to brunch to get this- so intimidating to make but nope... super easy and delishh 🤤 

  • Big soup pan
  • Apple cider vinegar 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric (optional- if you want a regular poached egg just omit)
  • Spoon to stir

All you need is a big soup pan and boiling water, then bring it down to a simmer.

I added 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp turmeric + stir.

Crack an egg into a small separate bowl (this is very important so you can drop in the egg smoothing into the water and avoid the yolk to crack)

Stir water in circular motion to form a whirl in the water, then pop in the egg. With a spoon continue to stir in circular motions just around the edge of the pan. 

Set timer for 3 mins for a runny yolk, scoop out the egg and if watery you can place on a paper napkin then transfer to plate + eat 🍴
