Low Carb Protein Pancakes
Guilt-Free Plant Based Protein Pancakes !! 🥞
Why are breakfast dates not a thing? Forget your 9pm fancy dinner reservation, let’s go eat pancakes at 9 am in our pjs ! 🥞
These pancakes are the most simplest things to make, low carb, low sugar and delicious! And if you are anything like me I enjoy them small and stacked as high as it can go. I made these vegan, replacing the egg for flax eggs here are the dets:
1/2 cup @lakantosweetener pancake mix
1/2 cup water
1 flax egg (1 tbsp flax meal + 2.5-3 tbsp water, let soak for 5-10 minutes)
1 tsp coconut oil
1 dash of vanilla (aprox 1 tsp)
The original recipe with egg is the following both are delish:
1/2c @lakantosweetener pancake mix
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tsp coconut oil
+ more water if needed… mine always come out a bit sticky and need to add another 1/4 cup of water to the mix.
Mix everything together, add more water if needed to thin out + cook pancake batter on medium heat pan.
Stack them all up- top with some blueberries, almond butter or yogurt and enjoy 😉
